- March 3 - Linda McCartney is arrested and charged with possession of marijuana in the US.
- March 6 - John issues a statement saying that his separarion from Yoko is over.

- March 24 - Capitol Records holds a party for Wings on the liner Queen Mary, docked at Long Beach.
