Short description The Beatles record an appearance on Thank Your Lucky Stars.
Location Teddington Studio Centre, Teddington

On this date, The Beatles' third appearance on the ABC TV program Thank Your Lucky Stars was recorded. It aired across most of the ITV Network on April 20 from 5:50 to 6:30 PM. This time, The Beatles took part in an 11:00 AM rehearsal, lip-synching to the song From Me To You. The Beatles were the third band on the bill. Also on bill were the not-yet-famous Dave Clark Five, The Vernons Girls, Bert Weedon, and, topping the bill, American artist Del Shannon, who The Beatles would work with the following Thursday as part of their Swinging Sound '63 program. After taping, The Beatles drove to the nearby town Richmond-upon-Thames to see The Rolling Stones for the first time at the Crawdaddy Club in the town's Station Hotel pub.
