| Date | November 12, 1963 |
| Short description | Cancelled performance in Portsmouth. |
| Location | Guildhall, Portsmouth |
A gastric flu virus prevented Paul McCartney from performing on this date, so the shows were postponed until December 3. The Beatles were also set to make a lip-synched musical appearance on the Southern Television newsmagazine program Day By Day during the early afternoon at the company's Southampton studios and transmitted this evening between 6:05 and 6:45 PM. This performance was not rescheduled. Instead, The Beatles were interviewed in their Guildhall dressing room by reporter Jeremy James, which was broadcast during the same program they were previously scheduled to appear in. The Beatles also appeared on the local BBC TV magazine program South Today from 6:10 to 6:30 PM, being interviewed at The Royal Beach, their Southsea hotel, by John Johnston.
