Text on category pages
As far as text on category pages is concerned, I wanted to suggest that we could follow Wikipedia in this matter again: They only describe very briefly what kind of Lemmata fit into the category (i.e. "These are songs that were recorded during the Polydor Sessions."), the category's subject itself actually gets a separate article which is shown as the category's first entry by categorizing it as follows:
[[Category:Polydor Sessions|!]]
What do you think? --LPP ☎ You can talk to me! 23:26, 29 May 2007 (CEST)
- I think you're right ! The text on the category article should be (very) short.
- I have nothing against that
[[Category:Polydor Sessions|]]
trick but I'm not sure it will be understood that it links to the actual Polydor Sessions article ... they also seem to have on wikipedia some sort of template to display at the beginning of the category a text like "the main article for this category is ...." - --Tilleul 00:03, 30 May 2007 (CEST)
- Yes, that is Template:Catmore (really simple!) which I now have created a modified version of. I've also moved the old text to Polydor Sessions, if we decide that we don't like it that way, we can still move it back. --LPP ☎ You can talk to me! 00:28, 30 May 2007 (CEST)
- Super ! :-)
