At 8:45 PM, right before their fourth and final performance at Hulme Hall in Birkenhead, The Beatles gave their first radio interview with radio Clatterbridge, a station serving Clatterbridge and Cleaver hospitals. In addition to being their first radio interview, it is also the first known recording to feature the Beatles' speaking voices extensively. They were interviewed by Monty Lister, who had two Radio Clatterbridge shows, Music with Monty and Sunday Spin. In the interview, given three weeks after Love Me Do was released, The Beatles give basic information about themselves.
