Fool Number One is a 1961 song by Brenda Lee. The Beatles covered it live from 1961 to 1962. No recording exists.

According to Walter Everett, this song was added to the setlist late in 1961. This was among several songs that were hits at the time added to the setlist, such as I Just Don't Understand, One Track Mind, I Really Love You, Take Good Care Of My Baby, Hit The Road Jack, (Marie's The Name Of) His Latest Flame, Ya Ya, Please Mister Postman, and September In The Rain.
