Like John Lennon had done on June 22, 1963, George and Ringo appeared on the television program Juke Box Jury, a record-review program broadcast on BBC1 every Saturday night. George rehearsed from 4:30 to 5:10 PM, took part in a sound and vision test from 5:10 to 5:40 PM, and appeared live on the program from 5:40 to 6:05 PM. After a dinner break, Ringo rehearsed from 7:30 to 7:45, took part in a sound and vision test from 7:45 to 8:15 PM, and participated in taping from 8:15 to 9:00 PM. Ringo's appearance aired on August 1 from 5:40 to 6:05 PM. Both shows were hosted by David Jacobs. On the panel with George were actress/model Alexandra Bastedo, comic actor Reg Varney, and singer Carole Ann Ford. The panel reviewed I Should Have Known Better by The Naturals, What Am I To You by Kenny Lynch, Soulful Dress by Sugar Pie De Santo, How Can I Tell Her by The Fourmost (another Brian Epstein act), Heart by David Nelson, Spanish Harlem by Sounds Incorporated (a Brian Epstein group), All Grown Up by The Crystals, She's Not There by The Zombies, and Ain't Love Good, Ain't Love Proud by Tony Clarke. Out of these nine songs, five were voted "Hit" and four (The Naturals, Kenny Lynch, David Nelson, and The Crystals) were voted "Miss." On the panel with Ringo were TV personality Catherine (Katie) Boyle (who was on the panel during John's previous appearance), actress Judy Cornwell, and singer Ray Martine. They reviewed Thinking Of You Baby by The Dave Clark Five, A Summer Song by Chad Stuart and Jeremy Clyde, Don't It Make You Feel Good by The Overlanders, It's For You by Cilla Black (given to her by Lennon and McCartney), Move It Baby by Simon Scott, I Wouldn't Trade You FOr The World by The Bachelors and Not For Me by Sammy Davis Jr.. All were voted "Hit" except the Chad Stuart/Jeremy Clyde and Sammy Davis Jr. discs. Also reviewed in the program but cut out of the final broadcast due to time constrants were Dang Me by Johnny Duncan and The Fever by Jody Miller.
