At the end of the tape, The Beatles discuss whether they should be recording or rehearsing. George debuted the song Old Brown Shoe, only to see it be ignored by the other Beatles. He then suggested to John that he should do a solo LP. "I’ve already written my quota of tunes for the next ten years… and I’d like to release an album of songs." George said. "What? On your own?" John replied. Possibly because John had already released a few solo singles and albums with Yoko, John agreed to the idea, saying "It can provide an outlet for every little note you want." George replied by saying, "Yeah. And that way, it also preserves this, the Beatles bit, more."
