| Short description | The Beatles are interviewed for Move Over, Dad. |
| Location | Westward Television Studios, Derry's Cross, Plymouth, Devonshire |
Because The Beatles were in Plymouth, they consented to be interviewed for Westward Television, who then held the ITV franchise for programming in Southwest England. They were interviewed by Stuart Hutchinson for the local teenage program Move Over, Dad, which advertised itself as as a "gay new show wih the accent on the beat of the young." This interview would be included on the next edition of the program, from 5:15 to 5:45 PM on November 16. There was such a large, chaotic, crowd outside ABC Cinema, where they were set to play later that evening, that The Beatles had to exit their dressing room through a side door and into another side door of the Athenaeum Theatre directly next to ABC Cinema. Westward sometimes used the Athenaeum Theatre as an annex studio, meaning that direct access could be gained to the company's main studio block via a connecting tunnel. The Beatles went through the tunnel to appear on Move Over, Dad. They then went back to the ABC Cinema to play two "houses" of fans in the evening.
