| Short description | John and Yoko perform at Cambridge University. |
| Location | Lady Mitchell Hall, Sidgwick Ave, Cambridge, Cambs |
This concert performance by John Lennon and Yoko Ono at Cambridge University was the first live performance of any Beatle without the rest of the group. This concert, however, was quite unconventional. During it, Yoko screamed and cackled into a microphone while John produced guitar feedback at the back of the stage. It was not until the end of this performance that they wer joined by any other musicians: a sxophone player and a percussionist. After this experimental piece ended, the concert was over. This performance was not only recorded, but it was issued as Side 1 of Unfinished Music No. 2: Life With The Lions as Cambridge 1969.
