Linda McCartney

Linda Louise, Lady McCartney (born Linda Louise Eastman on September 24th, 1941) was an American photographer, animal rights activist and musician. She most notable to Beatles fans and to the general public for being the first wife of Paul McCartney. The two were wed on March 12th, 1969. They had three biological children together: Mary Anna, Stella Nina and James Louise. In addition to the three biological children, Paul McCartney also adopted Linda's daughter, Heather, from a previous marriage. Linda became Lady McCartney when her husband Paul was knighted in 1997. In 1995 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and died therefrom on April 17th, 1998 at the McCartney ranch in Tuscon, Arizona.
