Short description Performance at The Star-Club.
Location Star-Club, Grosse Freheit, Hamburg, West Germany

This was one of the gigs in a seven week stint at the Star-Club in Hamburg from April 13 to May 31. The Beatles were required to play four hours one night and three the next, with a one-hour-on, one-hour off rota. Two weeks out of the time they played the Star-Club, they also shared the bill with Gene Vincent. The only day the band got off was April 20, which was Good Friday that year. By the end of that trip to Hamburg on May 31, their third trip to Hamburg in two years, The Beatles had spent 172 hours onstage in Germany, a total of forty-eight nights.
