Two shows at this 13,300-seat arena. The afternoon show was at 4:00 PM and the evening was at 8:30 PM. 10,000 people attended the afternoon performance and 12,500 attended the evening performance. Before the shows, in reaction to John Lennon's infamous "Jesus statements," The Beatles received an anonymous phone call that one or all of them would assassinated during one of their performances. Halfway through the evening show, someone in the audience thre a firecracker onto the stage and it exploded. Each of the Beatles looked around to see who had gotten shot. The Beatles left the Coliseum after the second show and went back to Metropolitan Airport in the Greyhound bus while their limousine was used as a decoy. They flew directly from there to Ohio, arriving at 1:35 AM.
