Short description Performance at Astoria Cinema for The Beatles' Christmas Show.
Location Astoria Cinema, Seven Sisters Road, Finsbury Park, London

This was one of the days of The Beatles' Christmas Show. The Beatles' Christmas show was Brian Epstein's idea, and was typical of his sort of ideas, including comedy pantomime, and music. It ran at the Astora Cinema for sixteen nights, with two houses each night, except for December 24 and December 31, when there was only one house. There were no shows on December 25, December 29, and January 5. The show ended on January 11, 1964. Tickets for the thirty shows went on sale on October 21. By November 16, all tickets were sold out. The band's set included Roll Over Beethoven, All My Loving, This Boy, I Wanna Be Your Man, She Loves You, Till There Was You, I Want To Hold Your Hand, Money (That's What I Want), and Twist And Shout. They also participated in several sketches and comedy routines. The Beatles and the entire cast, most of whom were managed by NEMS Enterprises, flew back to Liverpool on December 24 to celebrate Christmas with their families. They returned on the morning of December 26.
