Location

The climax of The Magic Christian, a film which Ringo stars in, is filmed long after most filming was completed. The climax features Sir Guy Grand having a vat full of slaughter house ordure, mixed in with money. During this test, all the people who really want money jump into the vat to try and retrieve it. Originally, this scene was to be shot on Wall Street in New York City, New York, USA, but Commonwealth United, the American financiers of the film would not let them do this, and were unhappy about even having them film that scene at all. Peter Sellers, however, thought the scene was important and offered to pay for the scene himself, convicing Commonwealth United to allow it to be filmed.
