Railroad Bill
From BeatlesWiki
Railroad Bill is a traditional song. The Beatles covered it live from 1957 to 1961. They, however, were more likely influenced by Lonnie Donegan's 1956 skiffle version. No recording of The Beatles playing it circulates. It is rumored to have been recorded on July 6, 1957, the live performance where John Lennon met Paul McCartney. It is known there were two reels recorded that day of The Quarrymen's live performance. The first one was rediscovered and sold to Yoko Ono at auction in 1994. The famed second reel has yet to be rediscovered and may not exist anymore. This song is said to have been included on that second reel.
