The first formal recording session for the album Let It Be. It would turn out to be the only session for the album in 1969 and also the only one for this album with John partiipating. This session was filmed for use in the Let It Be film. With this, all filming was complete. Promotional clips featuring the master version of Let It Be synched to one of the nine takes done on this day were released. Lady Madonna from this date was considered for inclusion on the album, but was considered too rough and was not used.
