| Short description | Recording Session. Songs Recorded: Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da. |
| Location | Abbey Road Studios |
A 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM session. This session saw overdubs onto Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da, including three saxophones (James Gray, Rex Morris, Cyril Reuben) and congas (Jimmy Scott), added from 6:00 to 10:30 PM. From 10:30 to 11:45, an unknown musician added a piccolo. Paul decided that this overdub was unnecesary, and instead added a new bass track between 11:45 PM and 1:00 AM. From 1:00 to 1:30 AM, a rough mono mix was made, which was taken home by Paul at the end of the session.
