This session took place on June 2, 1966 from 19:00 to 3:30 in Studio Two, EMI Studios, London.
Work began on George's song I Want To Tell You, titled then Laxton's Superb and then later, I Don't Know.
A rough mono mix of Yellow Submarine was also produced.

- Rythm track, Take 3: piano, drums, guitars. Marked Best.
- Rythm track, Take 4: piano, drums, guitars
- Rythm track, Take 5: piano, drums, guitars
- Vocals, tambourine, maracas & more piano overdubs were added onto rythm track take 3
- Creation of a reduction mixdown (tape-to-tape copy) called (confusingly) Take 4.
- Handclaps overdubs onto Take 4
A bass overdub will be added the next night.
