Work began on George's song I Want To Tell You, titled then Laxton's Superb and then later, I Don't Know.

A rough mono mix of Yellow Submarine was also produced.

  • Rythm track, Take 2: piano, drums, guitars
  • Rythm track, Take 3: piano, drums, guitars. Marked Best.
  • Rythm track, Take 4: piano, drums, guitars
  • Rythm track, Take 5: piano, drums, guitars
  • Vocals, tambourine, maracas & more piano overdubs were added onto rythm track take 3
  • Creation of a reduction mixdown (tape-to-tape copy) called (confusingly) Take 4.
  • Handclaps overdubs onto Take 4

A bass overdub will be added the next night.
