The Beatles returned to Trident Studios in this 4:00 PM to 3:30 AM session. In this session, the band began and completed the basic track. This basic track included Paul on piano, George on bass, Ringo on drums, and John on electric guitar. Two reels of tape were filled up, but Take 1 was considered best. A rough mono mix of his was taken away by George Martin (now back from his vacation) for the purpose of arranging a brass and woodwind score.
