On August 1, 1963, editions eleven and twelve of Pop Goes The Beatles were recorded. Both were broadcast on the BBC Light Programme between 5:00 and 5:29 on August 27 and September 3, respectively. The guests for the programs were Cyril Davies' Rhythm & Blues All-Stars featuring Long John Baldry and Brian Poole and the Tremeloes. The Beatles arrived at 12:00 PM for rehearsal, taping edition eleven from 1:30 to 4:00 PM and twelve from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
