At this time, Ringo is playing drums for Tony Sheridan, who The Beatles had previouly worked with. He had temporarily left Rory Storm and The Hurricanes to join Tony Sheridan and The Beat Brothers (Not The Beatles) on December 30, 1961, for a few weeks in Hamburg. He did not enjoy it, so he quickly came back. Right before he left, Ringo had even considered joining Derry and The Seniors, but Sheridan had convinced him with large amounts of money, a flat, and use of a car. Ringo did, however, find Sheridan hard to cope with, as he would often change songs in mid-song without informing the band. Because of this, Ringo went back to Rory Storm and The Hurricanes, who had been using Derek Fall from the Blackpool group The Executioners to take his place.
