Sounds Incorporated
From BeatlesWiki
English rockabilly group comprised of Alan (Boots) Holmes (saxophone) Griff West (born David Glyde) (saxophone) Barrie Cameron (born Barrie Elmes) (keyboards/baritone saxophone) John St. John (born John Gillard) (guitar) Wes Hunter (born Dick Thomas) (bass) Tony Newman (born Richard Anthony Newman) (drums)
The Group recorded and toured in their own right and also as a backing group for visiting American artists (Gene Vincent, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, Brenda Lee and Sam Cooke) and for Cilla Black after signing with Brian Epstein in 1963. They performed regularly as the Beatles support act on tours of the UK as well as internationally in Australia and America (they opened the August 15 1965 show at Shea Stadium). They were also highly regarded as sessions musicians; Cameron, Holmes and West provided the horn section for the Beatles Good Morning, Good Morning. They relocated to Australia but broke up in 1971.
