Stand By Me is a 1961 song by Ben E. King. The Beatles covered it live from 1961 to 1962. The Beatles also covered it during the Get Back sessions in January 1969. In addition to this, John and Paul attempted this song several times during their 1974 reunion. Also, John Lennon covered it on his 1975 album Rock 'N' Roll
