The Beatles cartoon series is first aired in the USA by King Features Syndicate for the American Broadcasting Company (ABC). Artist Peter Sander first drew the Beatles characters on templates for other animators to follow. Episodes were made in London, Canada, and Australia. The American actor Paul Frees did the voices of John and George while British comic actor Lance Percival did the voices of Paul and Ringo. The last time a Beatles cartoon aired on American TV was on April 20, 1969.
