Short description	The Maysles Brothers' footage of The Beatles' first visit to America was aired in the US.

NEMS, Brian Epstein's company, had given The Maysles Brothers the job to record The Beatles on their first trip to America. On January 12 of that year, roughly thirty-six minutes of that footage was broadcast in Britain, but the remaining footage would be shown in America on this date. It was presented by Carol Burnett as part fo the documentary series "The Entertainers." It was broadcast from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM Eastern Time. It featured all the footage from The Beatles' arrival in America to their trip back to England. This footage was later included on the home video The First US Visit.
