Recording in the afternoon for Shindig. The Beatles played live, not lip-synching, before an audience comprised of London-area members of The Beatles Fan Club. They played three songs, Kansas City/Hey Hey Hey Hey towards the beginning of the show, and I'm A Loser and Boys towards the end. The Beatles also participated in the finale led by The Karl Denver Trio. The show was broadcast on ABC in the US on October 7 from 8:30 to 9:00 PM Eastern Time. It was never broadcast in Britain.
