First, John joined Eamonn at the presenter's desk, Ringo and George sitting on the settee and Paul in the swivel-chair, they participated in an opening ten minute chat segment where they discussed the making of the Help! film and the likelihood of them having individual careers, among other things. After the first commercial break, they lip-synched to Ticket To Ride and Yes It Is. After that, they participated in Andrews' main discussion forum, which ran for 18 minutes and 35 seconds. During this, The Beatles were joined by the two other guests on the show, newspaper columnist Katharine Whitehorn and author/critic Wolf Mankowitz. For this section of the program, Paul joined John at the desk, Mankowitz joined Ringo and George on the sette and Whitehorn sat in the swivel-chair.
