The Beatles, after offending millions of fans in The Philippines by not having breakfast with their queen, arrived back in England at 6:00 AM. George and Ringo were interviewed at the airport by BBC staff reporter Tom Mangold. Two minutes and forty-five seconds made it into the final edition of Home Service's radio news-magazine program Today, which aired from 7:15 to 7:45 AM. It was repeated in the 8:15 to 8:40 edition.
