The Beatles appeared at EMI House to record an interview for their third appearance on The Friday Spectacular. It was broadcast by Radio Luxembourg on January 25 from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM. With the Beatles were hosts Shaw Taylor and Muriel Young, as well as an audience of 100 teenagers. The songs Please Please Me and Ask Me Why were broadcast. Tony Barrow would later talk about this performance in the sleevenotes for Please Please Me.
