| Short description | George and Ringo record promos for "The Public Ear" radio show. |
| Location | London |
At some time during this date, George and Ringo recorded promos for The Public Ear. This program encourged kids to listen to the music that The Beatles themselves listened to. Two takes of the promo were recorded. In the promo, George listed artists he wanted to hear played, "Mary Wells, Miracles, not to mention Marvin Gaye..." At this point, Ringo was supposed to say "Marvin Gaye?," and George was supposed to respond "I told you not to mention Marvin Gaye!," but, on take 1, Ringo missed his cue.
