| Short description | Single Release: John Lennon/Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band. Instant Karma/Who Has Seen The Wind? in UK. |
| Location | UK |
A single recorded on January 27, making it one of the fastest-completed singles ever made. It was also the first solo Beatles single to sell more than a million copies in America. It was deleted on December 31, 1986. This was John's best attempt at writing what he called a "newspaper song." "I want records to be more like newspapers… I want them to come out once a week, or twice a week. With this song, we wrote it in the morning, recorded and re-mixed it, and got it out within a week, which was pretty fast moving. I want it to be like that, you know. I want to be able to put it out as it happens. I write songs about what’s happening to me at the moment and I want it to be out at that moment. I don’t care whose name goes on it." John said.
