The Beatles' second Capitol album, The Beatles' Second Album was released on April 10, 1964. This album was actually the third long-play album in the US, if the Vee-Jay record Introducing... The Beatles is included. The album contained material from four different albums: With The Beatles, Thank You Girl (from the From Me To You single), both sides of the She Loves You/I'll Get You single, and You Can't Do That from the Can't Buy Me Love single. Two new songs, Long Tall Sally and I Call Your Name were also included. The Beatles' second album topped the charts, replacing With The Beatles. This was the first time a band had ever replaced their own album for the number one spot in the US.
