You're Going To Lose That Girl was cowritten between John and Paul in John's home in Weybridge.
Recording
This was the last song recorded before The Beatles left for the Bahamas to start filming Help!. It was recorded in two takes, only one of which complete, on February 19, 1965. Paul overdubbed piano and Ringo overdubbed bongos after the basic track was completed.
In The Film Help!
In the film Help!, The Beatles lip-synch to this song in Twickenham Film Studios, dressed up to look like a recording studio. While this is going on, a group of people are trying to saw a hole around Ringo's drum kit from the level below so they can get his ring.
